"Men are a dime a dozen"
Lots of man-bashing going on recently in posts. Doesn't surprise me, really, I'm used to it in this forum, but with this time of year, seems that some are more spiteful than I'd expect.
Anyone have any "positive" experiences with men (other than you positively want to kill us all? lol)... or should I just tuck my tail between my legs and stay out of y'all's way?

I don't see the bashing... just a lot of people that had too many bad experiences making generalizations.
Every guy I dated when I was younger is successful and has a happy home and there's nothing major that's wrong with their life. I just ended up with a dud.... my luck... that's all.

Took the topic from a recent reply... that's all. But feel free to read into it all y'all want to. LOL
Sierra... guess you're right.... just gonna take my tail and head out. lol
Just thought we could put a positive post since the holidays are upon us. It is funny the perceptions that transpire in these rooms. Guess there's just a lot of holiday-season-bashing going on in general.

I had one: several years ago, I met a guy kind of by accident, I was coming out of the bathroom, and he came up to me and said: "did you see my gf in there? tall blonde?" I said "no, I didn't sorry. But if she doesn't come out, I'll go out with you!" it was a total joke, and he said "well you are fine!"I figured that was that, then suddenly I feel a tap on arm, it was him! he slipped me his number. well I don't go for guys with gf's, that's not my style, but I accepted it anyway and gave him mine (the martinis helped)
well, I had no intentsions of contacting him, but I got a call from him months later. he said he was single and wanted to see me. Well, he travels extensively, and so do I, we were able to see each only twice in the 3 years we stayed in touch. we would chat by phone every couple months or so, then one day he wrote me a very long email explaining that he had gotten back with his gf. not something you really want to hear by email, but then again we weren't bf/gf anyway. But what I remembered was his email was very polite, ane he explained that he appreciated knowing me and glad he met me.
So, to make a long story short (sorry!) the positive experience came with the way he said goodbye to me. just a kind, grown-up, goodbye. No ridiculous claim to stay friends, or whatever.

Kinda like I'm the one who always ends up buying that one piece of "put-it-together-yourself" furniture from Walmart... but I ALWAYS get that one box that is missing a leg, or screw, or part that I need to finish putting it together? lol

Good observation. This sub-forum is all about EXPERIENCES with relationships. If they were largely positive, most people here wouldn't be posting them. However, I do notice a slight uptick in the anti-female experiences and the institution of marriage.
