I don't consider it the "end all be all" but...it is pretty important.

There can also be physical problems with one of the people: they are not able to get arouse, psychological problems, etc.

Yes, but I think that this person is just saying that the sex is bad. I'm sure they wouldn't be posting if there were something physical problems involved.
I do think that they should probably talk about the sex issues before he runs for the hills.

Well I just meant this as a general question for people. If sex with someone is lousy, would you break up with him/her?

Then yeah, I do think it is a good idea to split. Because clearly you two just don't click and that does not make fore very good sex.

It starts with the kissing... If the kissing isn't HOT, nothing else will be... I know from the first kiss whether I want to explore further.

If the next step is truly disappointing, then there is no further step. Chemistry usually makes everything else fall in place... Although it has also been to blame for relationships that have lasted TOO long...
