Given the original set of facts ... this would be a non-issue, hence nothing to settle.

But, we do not have the facts, just an opinion of the facts. You should know all the hard evidence would have to be looked at. Depositions, doctor's reports, insurance first impression files. Page by page, word by word.

My friend made a speedy recovery and sued the responsible people, got a settlement and is doing just fine.
Now the wench wants a piece of his settlement claiming she spent a year of her life "going through hell with him" which is totally untrue. All this wench wanted was just to be treated like a queen bee, be bought gifts and such.
My friend told me she ain't geting anythig out of him while his parents tell him to give her a few thousands and get rid of the wench forever.
What do you guys think?
Where is the facts??? I just see opinion of the facts.

You're reading too much into it. We can only base our decisions on what the OP told us - nothing more. Sure, they are probably not the bona fide facts, but they are what they are. Granted if I were to seriously consider something like this I would need all depo transcripts and the entire case file. Remember we are in C-D -- not a courtroom!

Yep, word by word....This is one reason my hubby got a good settlement in his case. Things were correct word by word. I read everything the doctor wrote and had things worded as I liked it. No questions unanswered. LOL I was the insurance company's nightmare. Since their insured failed to inform them of the accident, it was 23 months before they knew about it. In 23 moths all the evidence was ours.

I agree with most people here, tell her mind her own business and leave her nothing. If she is so fickle and un loyal as to leave him after the accident than she doesn't deserve or need one penny. She doesn't seem like a good person.

You're probably hearing only one side of it, but if that is the case, then she deserves a grand total of $0.00. And I'm being liberal with that amount. She really deserves a lot less. Since she wasn't married to him, then legally, she deserves and should get nothing. It's upsetting to hear about such horrible people. Kudos to your friend for making a speedy recovery.
