A Ukrainian bride whose family and friends cannot make it to her wedding in Britain advertised Monday for "decent" guests to attend the ceremony in their place. She even needs a bridesmaid.

ROFLMAO! Pierogi and cabbage rolls -- YUM!!!! My mum's side is Czech and those were party staples!

I'll bet those Ukranians can get wild with their dancing and dish-breaking. That's why she's wanting "decent Brits" for decorum and order. Maybe she's hoping for gifts of English silver and Staffordshire dinnerware, too!

Of course not!!!! She wants pretty pictures, and proper British weddings ARE pretty, with the ladies in their hats that match their outfits perfectly and the gentlemen in their top hats. I've seen a few of them during my travels in Britain and they ARE a picture!

And, again, she's probably hoping the "decent Brits" feel inclined to bring very "decent" gifts!

ROFL, better that than taking a chance on yobs and football rowdies who could break into a rowsing rendition of "Who's The Wanker" at the reception!!!!

She didn't specify well dressed. I think that there is a type of snobbery that covers good looking people wanting to surround themselves only with other good looking people. And "decent" might also cover being well-behaved and not trashing and inhaling the reception buffet food. lol
