I believe revenge can be warranted in certain situations. For me I've used it to lay down boundaries. I also enjoy being creative. As I've gotten older and I have more control of my surroundings, it's not really an issue anymore because any annoying or idiotic people I keep out of my life. Sometimes when people push it, you have to let them know you are not someone to mess with.
When I was in high school though and was stuck there, I can't say I had a great time and there were some people that gave me a hard time, vandalizing my car and house. So I turned on them in various ways and was very creative about it. Thoroughly enjoyed myself.
As I said though, now, in most cases I couldn't be bothered as I pick and choose friends very carefully. So the likelyhood of having to be revengeful is unlikely.
