You come from a very dysfunctional and weird family. I feel so sorry for you

There is no other way to describe them except as "rednecks"....bless their hearts, especially his sister, whom I love dearly....one of the kindest women I know, who deserves so much more than she has. It was summer and we were all outside (as one does) eatin n drinking, his brother in laws mother and step father was also there, when his jail bird ex con nephew showed up. Everything was going well until I brought up the subject of some money he owed me from two years before.

I'm not going to say why on this forum, but I sent the nephew $300 two years prior when we were spending a year in London (because ex had never been here and wanted to). His nephew never kept his end of the bargain and I never got my "goodies". Soon ex and nephew is exchanging words, ex's obese truck driving brother in law starts telling me what a dumb n****r ***** I am for sending him the money in the first place and especially for what I wanted...told me I deserved to have gotten ripped off. Soon ex, his brother in law and nephew are on the ground fighting...shirts were torn and there was a little blood by the time we pulled them apart. I can't remember what the nephew said, but it must have been pretty bad to get my ex fighting as he wasn't the type. His sister was so apologetic, but to me I considered the source. I think the newphew gets out of prison this year after his longest stretch.

Oh well that's my "My Name Is Earl" moment .

The OP has posted a similar thread on the Green Living section. I smell a troll.

I'm glad you find me intelligent and superior; however, I do feel sorry for you. It must be tough to be who you are.

I rest my case.
Artsy I have no idea what color you are but I have seen you posting about white privilege before.

I can tell you right now that I have had no extra privilege from being a white person.

I don't care what you say and how much you rest your case.

Actually, being a white citizen of the United States of America has recently been a downfall of mine.

I have not been able to work since the end of July and I do not have medical insurance. This is a bad thing because I have many issues healthwise. Epilepsy topping of the list.

I was turned down but told that if I were an illegal immigrant I would have got the medical help that day.

There is a real world example of your white privilege.

Case closed.

People are people. That is how it should be. I do not treat anyone differently because of the color of their skin.

I have been treated differently because of the color of my skin.

I am not incredibly wrong here.
