Is it true that your first love can give you increased expectations on love?

Gosh, I already forgot. I'll have to try to remember my first love.

Really? Mine are in a box somewhere in the attic, I assume. They have not been unpacked since I packed them 20 years ago.

When I was going through some of my grandmothers things I found pictures and lovely letters her first love sent her and they actually helped me with my genealogy time line...funny how those things happen.

At that age, I didn't see the need to save anything.

I have tons of pictures of us together, but like I said, we are still good friends. I did not keep any cards or anything though.

Well, I don't think I thought about it as having sentimental value, I just threw the crap in a box and never threw it out...glad I didn't so I can rummage through the pics and giggle at my bad hair!

I have several photos of her, but not of things we did while dating. The photos are mostly group shots from a youth group work camp we were at. That week started our relationship.

Unfortunately I threw away all the things from our first run... I didn't think I'd ever need to see them again. I was in a content relationship.... now that I'm back with my first love / my True Love I wish I had kept them. But you know what? We have plenty of new memories to capture.
