Being half Italian, when I was singe I dated a few men of italian decent. I did learn one thing.
Do not date an Italian man if he is the baby of the family. His Mom will not approve especially if you are a wee bit older than he is
But then again I remember one guy I was dating that I brought to a family party lol my Uncles sat him down and had a "chat" with him. He was not italian and didn't understand the "family" thing.
rofl I wish I had a picture of his face when they asked "So what do you bring to this family? Your in computers hmmm Sorry we already have a computer person "
I guess it it a good thing they really like the guy I ended up marrying.
To bad my neice just got engaged Matts. I could see the "Uncles" faces if she brought home a guy that was from Itlay. Heck they would probably have the wedding set by the end of the visit

How true this is but it holds for any one in the family not just the youngest. I remember when I was in HS my BF was Itaian, we started dating after awhile. His parents LOVED me. One day I was over for dinner and his dad said something to me in Italian I said excuse me?? MY boyfriend/ there son Cosimo said dad she doesnt speak Italian. His father said "why wouldn't your parents teach you Italian?" I said "because I'm Cuban but I'd love to learn." I remember Cosimo's face like dont go there they dont know. To say the least I was never invited for dinner again.

So, here I am, ecstatic that whatever it was that the Administrator did to the settings for CD, gave me back all the little gadgets - emoticons, scales, triangles (watch out!), correct screen size....oh there's just no end to how thrilled I am right now........
Point being: RANCE, remind me NOT, under any circumstances, EVER, get in the same vehicle as you when you go to Homer. I will only go where you go with your eyes wide OPEN!

Key word being: FAIRLY???
Karla, keep that umbrella handy and make sure you don't go out on THAT Saturday or Sunday.
AND, just in case, DO NOT go to Homer!

When I hear somebody say something to the effect that he/she is a good driver, I think of that scene from Rain Man "I'm an excellent driver." LOL
