All short actors say they're 5'9". Very few of them actually are.

Very true. Alot of women decide to leave us. And why not, many women want taller men. There is a glut of tall men in the USA, and for that reason, being short can be a disadvantage. I can't help but be short. I was designed that way and I am perfectly fine that way. For some people, height makes or breaks the dead, which is sad.

I think I may have already said this somewhere in this thread, but men really do not care about a woman's height. She can be 4'10" or 6' 6". If she's pretty, got a decent body (i.e., not fat) , and is fun to be with, we are so totally there. Weight/size matters a thousand times more to men than a woman's height. Problem is, lots of overweight women who's primary social interaction is on the internet dont want to hear this, but its true.

If she's leaving you, then it's not because of your height. Height's only a disadvantage during an initial contact, if you let it be. Most women are initially turned off, but if you got what it takes, height will be the least of her issues. Once you win a girl's mind and heart, especially heart, they'll work with you, shorty!

Theyres not a glut of tall men if there were then theyd be average not tall

Only a few percentage of men are actually over 6 feet so either ladies are gonna have to live a lonely existence or settle for us inferior average or shorter guys.

Height is tremendously important to me [I'm 6'5"] dancing with a short woman is difficult.....[I'm olde so we dance close] that being said.....I have been married 3 times.....5'1" 5'2" 5'2" hmmmmmm maybe it really isn't THAT important

Height if not that big of a deal as long as they are not ball shaped - as wide as they are tall.

Being a tall guy at 6'4", I have found that overall women are all about the same height when you lay them down in bed.

i know this thread was directed to the guys but i thought i'd put in my two cents i'm tall, 5'11 and i've been more than a little attracted to a few guys who were shorter than me. their height didn't affect me at all, it was their personality, brains and looks, that was the main attraction.

I know that my husband prefers chicks shorter than him. He's 6'2'', so it was pretty easy...of course, he got me--a whole foot shorter!
