I agree with Chow & Nito - you do NOT need to lose! Do you work out, lift weights, do cardio?

Based on your post about your ex calling you curvy; and your take on dropping twenty....cpg is right: lots of opinions on what curvy is!

Awww, thanks The height/weight charts would disagree with you however

Good guess. It was my 40th birthday cruise last April. I had the photographers take tons of pics 'cause I figure it's all downhill from here and want to remember when I looked good

I guess to answer the topic question, when someone says they're curvy it could mean anything from big boobies, to obese. What I think it should mean is J Lo.

How was the cruise? I'm hitting the big 4-0 this August and trying to decide what to do. I might start a thread in a few months to get some suggestions.

I used to think it was all downhill after 40. I am changing my tune though. Just in case I live to ninety, I want to be prepared!

I met a 53 year old lady in spin class the other day & I would have put down money that she wasn't even 40! Model beautiful with a figure to match. We were all teasing her, saying she had good genes, etc. So she showed us the "before" picture she keeps with her at all times so she'll never forget where she came from & what it took to get this far. You'd be shocked - probably 225-250 and definitely looked OLDER than 50 by far. She is now "curvy" in the very best (and true) sense of the word!

She (and Chessie too ) are my inspiration!
