I've never tried eharmony, but you sure make it sound awful. Not sure why you would give it a third chance if nothing worked out before. I wouldn't..
Why couldn't you get any dates from it?

I have never used it myself - I've only used Match (with great success ). But two of my co-workers signed on with e-harmony about 2 years ago, and they are both getting married to the fellas they met there, this summer. Obviously, they both give it high marks.

You have to be patient. If everyone signed up for a single month, met their dream then quit they'd not make any money.

I've said this before on this topic, but I know three married couples who met on eharmony. I have no idea how long two of them were on there before meeting their spouse, but the third met his wife almost immediately. I've stopped subscribing for a while, and won't unless someone's profile really knocks me out. I'm patient but wanted to take a break for a while. I still get matches and if one really knocks me out then I might pay, but for now I'm not worrying about it.

I met my wife on match.com as well. A lot of nuts there but I weeded them out quickly enough.

I'm happily married (25 years), but I've always wished there was a way to take eharmony's profile test just to see what questions are on it.

I did match for a while... went out on a few dates, and in 3 months I had about 3,500 profile views. Most of the guys are very shallow, nuts, perverted, etc.
eHarmony I tried for a month just to try it... I didn't like that you only got 5 matches/day, and the steps to go to actually TALK to the other person was very annoying.

Let's hope they don't have the urge to remove their "success stories" from the site too soon.
