1) Touched/ handled snakes , spiders, lizards & rats
2) Don't jump or scream at the above, blood, etc.
3) Have maybe 5 pairs of shoes (loafers, walking shoes). Dislike high heels.
4) Dares to dress down when most people would be all dolled up(wore a plain , light grey muffler to Paris - the land of scarves)
5) Am not looking for men's sexual or physical approval.
6) Have no desire to show (off) my breasts in public . You'll never see me with legs apart when wearing a skirt. Wear pants if you like to open your ''COFFEE SHOP'', ok!
7) Likes sports and cars.
8) Finds the military and battles interesting (though often horrifying). Actually bought space and flight- type mags at one time..
9) Doesn't know how to blow my hair properly. Tried it maybe three times and nearly burned myself Going to the hair dressers' irritates me.
10)Loves sensitive-as in thoughtful-men. Never saw the need for rugged-wife-pushing types.
11)Doesn't like to play games (if they do is probably because the men like it in the first place?)
12)Likes rock music..
I now foresee(oops ,a typical female trait) some macho guy telling me I don't know myself

I think drama is the stupidest, most inane thing in this world and I am completely beguiled as to why girls like it so much. I can name 39048730493 different things that would be better than actually investing time and emotions in silly, pointless drama. On the grand scale of life, it just doesn't matter!

And the thread about 2 girls, 1 guy made inspired this thread. She swears that all dudes really want that, and if they got the chance they would. From what I read, not all don't She says I surprise her how much different I am from other boyfriends she's had. I don't think I'm different, but I tell her she can't assume that all guys think with their dick.

I just think she's used to dealing with 'typical' guys. I have a lot of things that I can say are common in most guys, but she definitely had to throw that typical crap out the window.

Do any of you contrast stereotypes associated with your gender?
Yes. Well, at least I did. I was a very good automotive engineer. Not exactly a female profession. I'm very good at math and science but I believe more women would be if we didn't sell them a load of horse pucky about women not being good at them.

I own four pairs of shoes, walking shoes, tennis shoes, a pair of black dress shoes and a pair of blue dress shoes. I own one pair of flip flops for the pool.
I own 2 pairs of jeans, one dress, one suit and two pairs of dress slacks plus about a half dozen blouses and half a dozen t shirts. So much for the closet full of clothes.
I HATE shopping. I do it only when I have to.

I am actually quite good at preparing and presenting a wide variety of meals. Something my gender is not known for.

I get stereotyped ALOT! Alot of men have thought I was high-maintenance when nothing could be farther from the truth.

I grew up on a farm and know the value of a hard days work.

Cropped tobacco
Drove tractors
Milked cows
Fed farm animals from pigs to peacocks
Fish
Walked around barefoot alot
Chopped wood
Tended HUGE crops from cucumbers to sweet potatoes
Pretty strong for a "girl"
Cooking and cleaning since the age of 8

However, I do

Like to shop
Dress nice
Wear makeup
Love heels
Take care of myself financially (even though I'm married)

Even though I grew up in the country, I'm no "country bumpkin" and can hold a conversation with anyone and be professional in any venue.

Odd. I don't see other guys who want to "take care" of their women. Most guys want their woman to have a job outside of being at home.

I like all kinds of music. Even the latest 'bubblegum pop' songs as people label them. and I like Japanese Pop.

I'd rather read Tanith Lee or Anne Rice than Guns and Ammo.
I like all three but I dig Tanith's satire of religion and gender and well Anne rice created Lestat. So one of my heroes is a fictional vampire pretty boy who bites people. He's still tough as nails.

I can sew and do knitting very well.

I use organic lotion, herbs and soap to keep my skin fresh looking because I do not want to get wrinkle lines.

I shave almost all my body hair off. Except for legs , arms and face.

==============================
i love UFC and similar programs.
I have several edged weapons and a couple of guns. Working on getting some bows and crossbows.
I used to fight full contact martial arts.
I enjoy my glass of scotch on certain evenings.
i like to work on my car and tinker with any type of electronics.
I use linux and get nauseous whenever i have to use windows at work or elsewhere.
i am going to start hunting pretty soon with my uncle.
i will be a bachelor for life.
I support legalized prostitution in all 50 states.
I enjoy seeing a woman cooking. Especially when all she has on is an apron.
Actually anything she does will be appealing if all she is wearing is an apron.

I'm a guy, I don't really give a rip about sports. I don't like hunting, I couldn't care less about all of that macho shyt that a lot of men adhere to.

I don't think of women as separate from me and dumb. I don't treat women as "things", never understood how some men think of women as being there just to serve them.

I don't care about sports either.
I don't chase after women--quality is more important to me than quantity.
I'm not all about sex.

I cook, clean, do my own laundry, dishes, shopping etc. When doing laundry I actually separate darks from lights, cold from hot etc.

I do not like strip clubs.

I hate ESPN, though I am a casual sports fan (NFL, Boxing, Baseball), I hate college sports, NASCAR, MMA, and golf.

I don't always have to get the last word.

I read labels when food shopping. I like to know what's in it before I eat it.

I like fishing and target shooting, but not hunting.

I keep myself well groomed...fingernails/toenails trimmed, no facial hair, lip balm, regular haircuts...don't like having hair on the back of my neck.

I'm indifferent towards gadgets and new technology, and don't feel the need to have the latest and greatest cell phone, ipad, 3D TV, etc.

I wouldn't be caught dead wearing an Affliction T-Shirt and I don't wear sports jersey's unless I'm attending a game or actually participating in a sport.

I don't like scotch or whiskey...I prefer beer or wine with an occasional vodka drink.

I like cars, especially classic cars, but I could care less about how they work or what's under the hood.

I take my coffee with milk and sugar in the morning, and at night I like to unwind with a cup of chamomile or green tea.

I don't like gambling, casino's, poker etc. I do enjoy an occasional day at the horse-track though.

I enjoy dancing, especially salsa/merengue.

I like shopping for clothes, especially jackets and shoes.

I hate flashy jewelry, but I like nice watches.
