Default This thread is for those of us who are....

....happily married

Just wondering if there are actually any happily married people on this forum?

As for me, I adore my husband. He's not perfect (who is?). But he's perfect FOR ME. He's genuinly kind, genuinely honest, genuinely caring, and genuinely loves me. I still get butterflies when he walks into the room.

Our marriage isn't perfect, but it's really really good. My husband isn't Adonnis, but he's handsome and healthy. I find myself wanting to touch him all the time.

We genuinely have fun together, and we treat our marriage as a partnership...neither of us tries to dominate the other. He has his special strengths, and I have mine. We complement one another.

He has my heart now and forever.

I've been married for 12 years to my college sweetheart and I could not imagine life without her. I love spending time my wife, serving and loving her with a passion, as well as meeting her needs and desires. She feels the same way towards me, so we both come together with this mindset....and it's all good.

I've been blessed for sure....

I'll join this one very happily. We've been married for 6.5 years, and on the whole are very happy. We have our hiccups just like everyone else, but I think the key is that I LIKE him as well as being in love with him.
He's a good man. Makes all the difference. He's also stubborn as a mule, just like me so we butt heads. I often dislike that, but I need someone who challenges me, and he does.

We're a great team I think. Love him to pieces.

I love this thread. For all of us who are happily married.

I love my wife. She may come across as being extremely bi**y to some, but quite pleasant to others, but I love her more than anything. She puts up with all of my quirks and still loves me.

She's the closest thing to perfection that Ive ever met. She's an extremely hard worker, dedicated, loves her family, a bit vain like me, she's talented, an artist and a great mom.

We make each other laugh, and I think she's even sexier now than when we first met way back in 2000. A true beautiful on the outside as well as on the inside person. Happily married and celebrating 5 year anniversary this year.

I'm sorry. I thought my original post might have been too mushy, so I toned it down a bit.

But I'm going to put it back in. Just give me a sec.

Wow. A positive thread. I'm completely dedicated to my wife of 25+ years. Her health has deteriorated for the past 14 years, but it hasn't changed the way I feel about her. Many of the threads here end up in discussing affairs. With my wife's health problems, intimacy has become kinda rare, but I've never considered looking elsewhere. I'm not mentally, emotionally, or spiritually capable of an affair.

I love my husband very much. We've been married for 13 years, but I've known him for 21. He gets me. We finish each other's sentences, laugh at each other's dumb jokes, and enjoy each other's company. We're going to be old and grey together someday, sitting in our rockers on the porch, quoting dumb movies and making up songs about farts.
