Awesome, thanks for asking. Other than the obvious, which pretty much is all you need to know when it comes to gifts, I'll go with a) Guinness, b) Scotch, c) pipe tobacco, d) a good book on any period of Russian history pre 1917 or e) a good dinner.

We're going to spend a lazy weekend on the glorious central Oregon coast at an ocean front condo.

Well, instead of some material thing, I would love an evening with my S.O.---just us, no kids, quiet where we can talk for a while at our favorite Thai restaurant. Then we would head on over to the river to one of our "walking bridges" for a while.....then on home for a long, slow session of the "obvious"

Too bad we'll be traveling on V-day and won't get to do that! Maybe another day?

For me, nothing but the obvious. Of course, what's obvious to me isn't necessarily obvious to her. I like vanilla, but I'd prefer various toppings.
