I used to want to be a pole dancer a nice strip club (don't hate, there out there)!! The women are in amazing shape to be able to hold yourself upside down on a pole and get paid for it.. You don't even have to worry about being touched by the nasty men who go there.. he he he
(really it is just because I was poor and chubby as a child and wanted to be rich and hot when I grew up)
I was in the 4th grade when I decided. I'm not sure if it was geography or social studies, but there was a page, complete with picture, about sheep herders in Wyoming. I thought that would be a really cool job.
I still think it would be cool, but I'm sure my wife would insist on a double-wide sheep herders' wagon.
It's not 'crazy"... but I grew up wanting to be an airline stewardess.
And that's only crazy if you knew the irrational fear of flying that I have.
Correction: I like flying, it's the crashing element that bothers me.
And mmbogdan81, I have a pole in my home that I use for "pole fitness". It's a great workout! I'd recommend getting one! And if you do, might I suggest an "X-pole". It has both a static (meaning stationary) mode and with one little twist of an allen wrench it has a "spinney" mode and there's no bolting to the ceiling joists or anything. Installs in under 3 minutes and can be taken down in less time than that. Here's an example of the things you can do with enough practice: (and yes, I can do all of this and no... nothing dirty in this vid, sorry ) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SjryMsE8Wiw
Sorry for the "threadjack". But don't give up your dreams of pole work! It's so much fun and you won't believe the workout!
