Well, yeah, in the context of our dear forum it does sound great, doesn't it?! Sometimes literal translations of sayings from a foreign language are quite fun!

Go to any post by "GLS". Then click on the scales in the upper right hand corner, and repeat until you get carpal tunnel syndrome. Eventually, I can yell, "Look. I'm King of the World".

If somebody types something I agree/ disagree with ... to the point of me physically agreeing with them.. then I give them points... as if we were in a room together and I would nod or add to the conversation.

Then they get points.

Default Reputation Points

Glad you posted this info on Rep Points. I am new here and didn't understand how or what they were for. I do, however, think that someone on here referred to me as an "OP" which I think means OLD PERSON..LMAO...I am older but not ancient. OH...and I think someone also called me a Troll...I have a pretty wild sense of humor so whoever called me a TROLL...no more TRIP TRAPPING ACROSS MY BRIDGE...good grief!

CP and I am 61 years Young!

It took me a while to figure it out; OP means the original poster (the person who started the thread).

Pardon my duh, but someone decipher this one for me: DH - as far as I can tell, H means husband, but what does the D stand for?

Well that blows my theory. I thought DH stood for designated hitter. And not the baseball kind, if you get my drift.

OP means "Original poster" or Original post"

I try to be generous when I remember, but many times I forget to rep people. When I do its because of something funny, something I agree with or something intelligent (even if I don't agree). I try to leave a little message with my name too.

I like to know who reps me--always curious--so I leave mine in return.
