I haven't really "crushed" on any one yet or really allowed myself to go there. This is an internet forum.....how do we know that the profiles/pictures REALLY are who the user claims to be? There must be no hope for me!
When I was in my 20's I dated internet men, some very nice, some werid, some bad and lied and said they were single but weren't, some very handsome but boring, some alright and very interesting. I wouldn't advise going by yourself however. Make a group date!!
What I would like to know is if someone has ever had a crush on someone in a forum they had never seen, even a picture, and then went out and tried to meet this person. And how did it go?
I did it before with chat rooms. Its fun be be advise to go on group dates!!!
I do not see how that is possible here. Who knows who is really who, what when, where or how? Men could be posting as women, women could be posting as men! People can be friendly in here and can actually become somewhat educated with many things. But when it comes down to it you never know who you are chatting with.
no kidding i once pretended to be a guy in a chat room , and holy crap women swarmed to me, ewwwwwww one was even my friend, i imed her and told her who i was. she felt sooo dumb. i had to laugh!
