Yeah, but there is some "man" in them. Not any of what you posted. Plus you can't put 150ish million males into two categories. That's ridiculous.

Victorian Punk,

C'mon, brah, just be yourself, do the things that you like to do, go to the places you enjoy going to, just be good to people, be cool and all this stuff will work itself out for you. Keep working on yourself, little by little without obsessing. Be true to who you are and some lady will come along and appreciate you...for who you are.

Quit worrying about all these other guys and stuff and just take care of your own business.

Screw it.

And how many women can really tell the difference? And why is it that arrogant men are never without a date?

I can and will deny that all women want a "bad boy".
I never said that, hence, the first line of my OP said "some but not all" twice and it was in bold and in red. Maybe I should have underlined it too...

Quote:
Yes, men are expected to initiate, but that doesn't mean it is not hard for introverted women in other ways. YOU ARE NOT A WOMAN, and you cannot tell women what they think or feel or experience.
And you are not a man, and cannot tell me that you know how it is to be expected to be "suave" and "smooth" all the time. A women can be Juliet, quitely waiting on her balcony for Romeo, but men are always expected to be James Bond, dashing, smooth, witty and initiative. You are not a man and therefore do not understand the pressure that men are put under to life that archtype.

Quote:
I can tell you right now, that if you have problems with women it is not because you are shy, or short, or like nerdy things. It's your attitude that is a turn-off.
I do not understand what you mean by "problems". I have never had a girlfriend, but that is because for one, I am about 50% sure that romantic love does not exist but is just a nice fantasy idea, like a Dungeons and Dragons character, two, because I have never tried to have a girlfriend and three...I live in New Jersey.

Sorry, but if it isn't doing Jagger-Bombs at the guido bar, going to the mall or trying on ten layers of make-up, the philistine girls around here are not into it.

Sorry, but Angie, Ginger and 'da gals" over here don't do it for me. When I move, maybe I'll experiment with dating and see if I am not really asexual or whatever, but as it stands now, it is preferrable to be alone than to be with a Jersey girl...and please, I have lived here my whole life, so don't tell me "I'm generalizing".

Saying that most Jersey girls are dumb bimboes is about as much a "generalization" as saying that most people in Jamaica are black is a "generalization".

I think there is some confusion in this thread : geeks vs. dorks.

Bill and Steve are tech geeks. Forget the $$$ for a moment. They are brilliant and proactive and contribute to the world. They (probably ) do not spend hours playing WoW or crafting costumes for SCA.

Dorks often engage in the above. They lack drive and even very basic social skills. They might even live in their parents' basement.

As I stated earlier, I happen to dig geeks. Science geeks. Engineer geeks. Computer geeks.

Dorks? No thank you.

p.s. if you happen to be a dork, I do believe you can evolve into a geek, but you are going to have to have an open mind and be willing to work at it.

Wow! those are the scarest girls I have ever seen in my life in that photo. Anyways...When women complain that "there are no good men out there"....What the really mean is "there are no good extremely hot men out there". Generally speaking womean our age (20's-early 30's) are only interested in the top 15-20 pecent of the best looking guys. The other 80-85 percent of guys are pretty much non-existant unless they make big bucks or are arrogant/abusive.

The general difference between geeks and dorks is that geeks often have zero social skills, often rude, and are very obsessed with childish things (video games, japanese anime, role playing etc...). Dorks are extremely individualistic, fun to be around, have great social skills, and often have an advanced sense of humor.
