The average auto thief has more options in the mating marketplace than the average accountant. It's a turn on for many women across the spectrum to be with a exciting guy. A guy involved in criminal activity is more exciting than an accountant or an engineer.

The type of woman who is charmed by Mr. ExCon is not too likely to be viewed as much of a find to an engineer or accountant. But within their sphere that is probably true.
Yeah, but if she skipped a few days taking the pill, or the guy decides that one time to stop using a condom. You don't know what's going on in their bedroom., behind closed doors.
You do realize there's more female birth control than just "the pill," right? I've had more than a few friends that had IUD babies. Most of the women I know haven't taken the pill in years, once more options were available without the user error element.
Well its not just the other parent you have to deal with also have to be compatible with the kid(s) too. They might not have veto power, but they can sure make it miserable if they choose. Mom or Dad liking you may not be enough.
The majority of single moms get no shortage of attention, especially if they are using Tinder or Bumble. Single moms can have sex on demand. Commitment is usually another story. Many single moms struggle to obtain commitment.
As for the quality of the dating pool, big cities are not a picnic. Women in large U.S. cities have too much choice and big cities (750,000+ in the metropolitan area) are basically cesspools for the mating market. Some of the worst attributes are there. The best cities for the quality of the pool are the mid-sized cities (150,000 - 750,000). Large enough to have choices, but small enough to avoid the cesspool issues of large city dating.
This part seems anecdotally true for me (when I was single at least).
Talking to women in Dallas, it always felt like you were fighting an uphill battle. If I was dealing with the same caliber woman in smaller surrounding areas like Arlington, TX...my chances of success went up exponentially. Big cities provide lots of options but that's not really an advantage for a man unless he's incredibly attractive or has some other hook that draws women to him.
The single mom thing is definitely true. Women, especially young women, with no kids are more apt to use sex as their ace-in-the-hole for locking down commitment. Basically, you ain't getting it until you've earned it.....unless you're objectively more attractive than she is. Single moms aren't as worried about kids since they've already gone through that process. Most of the time, they'd be willing to let you sample the goods...hoping to get commitment on the back end.
This is only based on my personal experience. Single mom's were always seemed afraid of scaring you off, so they would come across as more relaxed and open-minded. Younger women with no kids were always more uptight and it was clear they were looking for something serious.

My husband was an IUD baby. Dangerous delivery. His parents had already been married for years but yup.
