I think the ladies are all just joking and having some fun!!!
I know I did not take this question seriously and have only had fun with it.

"Is there some city that anyone knows of with a great # of retired, rich men.............." I can read. And I've met my share of women like you. Trying to ride on the back of someone elses hard work and fortune.

She's looking for an equal. A partner. Get it?

It's not a thread about gold-digging.

That's not fair. They didn't have to dig that hard for the gold.

Capt. Dan, you have problems with people having money, don't you?
Nobody here is a golddigger, but you seem to not want to even listen or to read any of the posts, Capt. Dan.

Well, as I said, I think the ladies on the forum are just having some fun. Not sure about the Op but the rest of us are simply having a good laugh!

I disagree with you, dvcgal. A number of the posts were truly attempting to be helpful and informative, and I'm very appreciative (as well as my girlfriends are) of the assistance.
So much kinder to try to help instead of silly responses or comments from the bitter respondents. Nuff said.

I just think it's hillarious. I wonder how many married guys get robbed like this and don't report it. I actually heard from a buddy who was on a trip with another sales guy that got robbed by some gals he took back to his hotel room. My buddy was a straight arrow and married while the other guy was a married player. So, the player guy lost his wedding ring, a LOT of cash etc. not sure how he explained his way out of that one.

Hey, if you marry for money, you pay for every dime.

Mathguy, let me put it this way. I had a girlfriend who's husband was in Vice for the Police in a very major city, so I learned some of the goings on. This sort of thing happens enough that, in that Department, it was pretty common. More common in those cities with lots of bars, strip clubs and hookers.
Unfortunately, there are some bad women out there (just like there are mooching bad men) who are looking for guys to take for everything they can.
Just be happy nobody got physically really hurt.
I'm guessing the guy who got taken for his ring told his spouse he was robbed by some guy. He'd be the world's biggest fool to tell her the truth.
