Interesting topic....in my case its pretty much right I like a girl who is healthy and looks after herself (as I do). Although I don't have major preference beit blonds, redheads or brunettes.

Well, I don't know. You guys know what I look like, and yet I am super attracted to guys who look like Flava Flav! Kinda blows Sierra's theory right outta the water!
I'm an "Irishman" but I have dark hair and dark eyes, fair complexion, yet tan fairly well.
Chow, I grew up in a very Irish family and the dark features you mention were always the sought after ones by us pale Irish folk.
They were called the "Mediterranean Irish" as their ancestors were seafarers who took up with natives of the Mediterranean coastal lands.
So basically, I'm tellin' ya I'm very jealous!
And yes, Sierra, I think in general, you are onto something. I fell in love once with a beyond gorgeous man - dark skin, dark hair, dark eyes - the exact
opposite of my pale blue-eyed self. But I married a pale blue-eyed boy of Irish/English mix! When I see pictures of him as a boy, I feel like I'm
looking at my brothers & father.
In between posts I've been entertaining myself comparing pictures and came to the conclusion that most men I'm attracted to look somewhat like me! It's not something I've just discovered. I've noticed many times pictures of couples who look like a brother and sister and I've done some research on it. There are writings supporting this theory. As a matter of fact, once I happened to come across a book in the library on the subject. If I've gotten to know somebody before seeing his picture I might go past the looks; however, what I'm attracted to at first sight looks awfully like me! Or could it be simply because we likely look like our parents?
How about your experiences?
I would have to say it's not true for me. I'm typically attracted to tall guys with dark hair and I'm short and blonde.
Afraid not, sweets! On the other hand, I don't resemble any of your preferences, so it's all good!
