I wish more people could learn to be happy with the things God has blessed them. Too often many of the troubles we find ourselves in are because of greed and us stretching ourselves to excess. I can say this, I did it for 30 years and all it did was wreck my health and made me unhappy. For my wife and I however, things are different now. I can walk out back in the forest and just relax. I take pleasure in the simple things in life now. My job my be high-tech, but my life is not. I make our own butter, bread, cheese, pasta, jelly. I kill, catch or grow quite a bit of our food.

I would wish for the ability for my husband and I to be completely happy with what we have.
I am never satisfied with what I have done or achieved - I am always thinking I could have done better. I think learning to be content with the status quo is a gift.

Maybe this is a wish that one day I will be able to grant myself.
