3. Something, such as a material object or a nonsexual part of the body, that arouses sexual desire and may become necessary for sexual gratification.
4. An abnormally obsessive preoccupation or attachment; a fixation.

The fact that you like a specific race I would label that under something else.

I disagree with you based on 4.

There's a big difference between PREFERENCE and a FETISH.

You can have a fetish for a specific race/ethnicity, but not everybody who prefers a specific race/ethiniticy has a fetish for them.

I guess key word being "object", I don't consider myself an object. Body parts are objects, but they are attached to a person.
Someone with a foot fetish, for example, is consumed with the foot, not the person attached to it. I just found it offensive, but to each his own.
