I served 2 years at 22 and there was not really alot of taking. More guys got talked out of it than anything else. Weak men whos women run them on the streets will have a Bubba running them inside. Usually the forced stuff was to teach a lesson to a loud mouth. (still gross as hell) I think the guys that participated in that were latent homosexuals anyway.

From my understanding the ones who go "gay for the stay", usually do so by choice. The whole "gang rape" thing I beleive does happen, but not as frequently as TV portrays it.

In many cases, it is usually given away by threat of violence, and promise of protection then anything else.
