I did a quick search on the Ninny Net for foods for depression and the article said: Salmon or tuna for Omega 3 oils, brown rice, brewer's yeast helps depression, put a thimbleful into a smoothie in the morning, whole grain oats, cabbage. If it's a sunny day today where you are, try and sit in the sun. Get some exercise. Maybe you could take your kids in a stroller outside? Watch a funny movie. And the article suggest a quality "superfood" supplement from the health food store.
I'll second that post as well. Fish oil has worked wonders for my mood and made me a bit quicker witted.
Nutrition is paramount to a clear head.
Is that a good thing?? If so then that might be the core of the problem.
Sorry, I was just kidding. I tend to face things like depression with making jokes so it doesn't seem to be such a big deal.
Actually jokes seem to take my mind off the problem that's causing me to feel this way. It is a problem I need to resolve and a friend told me the less I stress about, the more options for a solution will come up.
I don't see why people get depressed. Every second is one step closer to death that's if something doesn't kill you before your time. So turn that frown around.

Hey, here's a suggestion...go to youtube and find some Eddy Izzard videos to watch - he always makes me laugh. If he's not your cup of tea, how about some old Eddie Murphy standup?? Laughter is so good for what ails you
