When did you FIRST realize that you were in love with your SO?
Can anyone remember a defining moment when you "knew"? What was that moment?
Or was it just a gradual realization?

I knew by the second date. It was like matching a film negative to the photo. There was a correspondence/correlation/match between my ideal woman and my wife. There was no need to look further. She took longer, but she caught up. She had been burned, I understood, waited, and proved myself.
Currently married 8 years.

Just before the start of my freshman year of college. We'd known each other for years and had been hanging out all summer. I'd been excited about leaving for school, but as the day drew nearer I started to dread it. The night before I left was HORRIBLE! Just thinking of it still makes me teary. Before I'd never looked at him as more than a friend. I had other male friends, but something about him was different. I still can't explain it.
That was over a decade ago. In May we'll celebrate our seventh wedding anniversary. We have one child and are anticipating the arrival of #2 any day now.

He went and did a show in NYC and I stayed in CA....while we were apart we both came to realize that we didn't want to be separated again....25+ yrs and counting  And now he travels all the time for business....go figure |

Dh was my best friend and he was single, so I presented her a nice friend. Things didn't work between them and I was at the beach that weekend thinking who would reject such a nice, educated, masculine, etc etc. perfect man. Suddenly I felt like butterflies in the stomach and I realized at that precise moment I had fell in love with him! o_o
Long months before dating, etc. We'll celebrate our 8th anniversary this year  |

The first time he kissed me "properly", and I thought my knees were about to buckle !
We had been dating for a while and I knew I really liked him but that kiss in an Oxford Medieval Graveyard sealed it for me. I know it sounds silly but I knew then he was the "one".
The thought of being without him used to make feel actually sick. And still does. |

everything became beautiful ----smell taste vision everything
absolutely nothing anyone said or did was offensive.
i was happy to see my worst enemy.
of course very shortly after that, i began to find her muddy feet all over my coat 24/7, i found i was not "the one" i was part of a group plan.
