There are times in life when the average lay person can't say what is important. I'v always been bad at telling Mrs. Chow how important she is to me. I often wondered what is was that made people think.
Why do we need such nonsense to get us by?????????
I don't have any of these problems. The studio IS local. They have the same practice - group lessons & open dances at $7 or 10 (not sure which one is which). My problem is I hate to have people watch me doing something I suck at and that's the reason these group lessons & open nights don't work for me. That's all. You should see me when I try to do some handy work at home or figure out some manual!
I'm a little self-conscious myself, but I guess when everyone else is there learning too, I don't feel that way as much. The one person that I am probably the most self-conscious dancing with is my son - cuz he picks it up so damn fast and will nit-pick me where he wouldn't say a word to someone else!!
