Eh, I'm taking one day off, too, so I'll have a 4-day weekend. Could've taken more, but I'm saving my days for more worthwhile things - say like sipping pina colada under the palm trees on some beach...
Hey, it's not booked yet and I'm not sure if it will be. There are so many things I want... It's not easy having a champagne taste on a single beer budget! Whatever possessed me to buy this house... Still needs a lot of stuff.
Since I didn't go to Riviera Maya earlier, now about the only choice left nearby is Puerto Vallarta (high hurricane season in the fall around Cancun)... I like PV and the jungle, but the beach is not the best. Besides, I'm a jinx. They had their first hurricane ever in '02 about a week after we left. And I was trying to postpone the vacation by a week or two because after booking I read that the rainy season might not be over, but couldn't. Wouldn't it have been fun if I managed to?! Thank goodness sometimes logistics save me from what I'm about to bring upon myself. The thing is I also wanna go to Europe next year...
Thats always a tough one too.

Lucky you! I have a very busy work week coming up. I will be SO ready for the long weekend!! And my mister is off to Spain next weekend for 10 days....hope I stay outta trouble.

I don`t know. I think if I was going to go off on a vacation getaway, it would be Ireland. Visit the castles, and old timey bars!
