Even though I haven't met the hostess, the host is from a neighboring country back in Europe, so I highly doubt that.
It was funny how it was announced: The party starts around 3:30 pm for family and children. At 7:30 pm we are opening the bar for those who what to party hard. Everybody was welcome to join at any time and for however long. I remember going once to neighbors for a cocktail party from 5 to 7!  God forbid you might be enjoying yourself at 7:05...  Not that I did or would... 
Obviously I'd wait for the sweet kiddos to go home, but I'm not sure if I'll get a drink before 7:30.... |

Nah, no such plans. At least they live in my neck of the woods. I hate driving at night after drinking all across town, particularly in unfamiliar areas. |
