To add to my first post....the man is 69.
I don't think a man with a hairpiece is the same as a woman with a wig or extensions, etc. The bigger issue with a man is that I feel it is somewhat unmanly to be insecure about something as common as a bald head....Is it an indicater of a character flaw?

I think its more of a generational thing.
My dad used to have a wicked nasty comb-over back in the day.
Guys in the 20-50 range today just shave it or cut it short.
At the urging of past gf I've gone from having my hair cut with a #3 clipper down to a #1 and it looks better this way so I've kept it.

I bet I wouldn't be able to tell if it's a good toupee. Women can pay a lot for good nails, good extensions, good implants ... the good ones look real. Cheap fakes rarely look good.

I think bald guys can look fantastic. Mmmm, Patrick Stewart. Oh, Captain Picard, maybe I polish your head for you? With my chestal region?

If you or your friend feel that he is somehow "unmanly" then move on. I'm sure this guy has managed to live his life up to this point, just fine, without input from a woman who has a hang up about his dome. It's HER hangup - not his. She should move on and allow the man some peace and happiness before he passes on.

What id she wore pink because she likes the color, and he asked her not to wear pink anymore. Should she comply? Or should she move on? Same difference.

What would you do?
If he's bald, big deal! But toupee, I don't think so.

Hair not there? I don't care. But, the falseness. I couldn't date him even if I tried. I would be to busy laughing and pointing to his head.

Better without a toupee, then that way he hopefully wouldn't have much on his mind when dating.
