My whole life I never went over 117 at 5'4 I was always a size 3 or 4. Since movinghere, I cannot get my thyroid meds right down here.....so I am creeping up slowly. In the last four years here I went from 117 to 144! Looks like I am going to have to put a pole in my bedroom!

I asked my wife this question who has very strong views on this subject. As someone with a career in dance (think Karina Smirnoff type body) she said that if the woman is a ballerina then 95 - 110 lbs. Ballroom dancer she said they should have very low body fat percentage but maybe a bit heavier because of the strength/muscle required. For dancers in her group, she said that size 7 dress size is the largest they will consider but she didnt say anything about weight.
Overall, she said that a person's health and fitness level is the greatest indicator of "ideal" weight. She said that personally, if she gets up to 130lbs she feels like a "fat cow dog" which is how she describes it.
Whoa there, this is far from curvy!! I haven't seen 120 since the sixth grade and have always been a full figured woman...no problems dating at all. Right now I am battling weight due to age, medical issues, surgery recovery and LIKING TO EAT! I have cholesterol level of 132 which is beyond amazing for my age, sugar is at 87 again amazing...so basically blood work is showing I am a healthy full figured chick. No problems dating not ever throughout my full figured life...lots of men like us "fluffy" women. So...honey, when you say "curvy" your weight range should be 145-200 pounds and that's no lie!
I'm sure I'm not the first to point out that this greatly depends on height. MY ideal weight FOR ME is about 95-97lbs but that is because I am only 5ft tall. For women taller than me, especially significantly taller, 95-97lbs would be extremely underweight and unhealthy. For me, it is perfectly healthy and attractive.
The only way to vote in this poll is if you are voting on your ideal weight based on what you voted for your ideal height - but the poll results won't note that, therefore the results will appear very misleading. Therefore, this was a poor idea for a poll, sorry.
