Remember waaay back when women used to iron "our shirts" fellas. Well at least my mom ironed my dads and my grandmother ironed my grandfathers.
I don't believe in ironing for ironing's sake: that's why I got an education and a high-paying job so I can have someone else do my laundry, press my clothes and clean my home. There are certainly more fulfilling and meaningful things to do with one's time.

Man does not live by bread alone. I love cooking, but I have other obligations -- so I cook once a week. Yeah, microwaved food is yucky, but it's not the most important thing in the world.

So... in essence you're saying that those of us who didn't choose your route in life are leading a meaningless and unfulfilled life?

Do you still exist ladies?
I'm a domesticated male but I'd like to have a lady that can actually do domestic work as well.

According to that kind of post... someone who decided not to get a higher education and does their own laundry, cleans their own house etc. doesn't have as fulfilling or meaningful things to do in their life as someone who choose the higher education, etc.
Hence, the question I asked. The poster can clarify, if they wish. It's an honest question with no spin.

I should have said "for me", and I didn't mean to offend. Still, even as originally written, you still misread my statement. Doing your own ironing and cooking three meals a day doesn't mean your life is meaningless or unfulfilled. Doing these things doesn't mean your life is dedicated to them. But those activities themselves are very menial and devoting one's life entirely to household chores (which I believe is very rare today) is something that I have trouble picturing as meaningful or intellectually satisfying. I mean, if they are -- why not then church one's own butter or scrub floors by hand?

I always read a post assuming the author is talking about themselves, not everyone, unless otherwise stated.

It sure as hell ain't going to be me, though. I'd let you kiss my ass first.

You're kidding, right? Most of the gals I know are excellent cooks. And yes...we know how to iron. What a question!!
I built an arbor, repaired my lawnmower, installed a ceiling fan and a new toilet, and I aerate my lawn every fall.
I assume that you also know how to do these things, as well as cooking and ironing.
