There's a girl whom I've worked with for a few weeks. We email eachother alot, just joking/friendly emails...usually not work related.
She left town for a few days to visit friends. We don't have eachother's cell numbers, so pretty much I didn't expect to hear from her until she got back.
We both are friends on facebook, and she got my cell number off of that. I found this out when she text me late one night saying she got my number from facebook.
Two other times, she sent me a text asking how my night was going, etc. I didn't respond, because these were around midnight, and I was already asleep (worknights).
So a question to the ladies...why text a guy you don't really know all that well late at night? Why not just call? It's obviously not a booty call considering she's 2000 miles away, and definitely not loneliness as she's with 3-4 of her best girlfriends. I should also mention that she sends me sightseeing pictures as well. Are these hints of attraction, or just being friendly?
I'd like to think it's hints of attraction, but I find that hard to believe considering we barely talk. These are things you do with your best friend, no some random guy you've known for 2 weeks.

If she is spending time to look up your number, and sends you texts late at night, my hunch would tell me that she likes you, maybe a little attraction in there to boot!  |

... gently! Not like, "hey, what's the deal with those late night texting"  Not like that. Or better yet, go mini-golfing, laser-tagging, rub shoulders, rub elbows and see what happens. Take dance lessons. That's if you are interested to find out what's up there. |

I think the late-night thing is a bit odd. She may be waiting until her boyfriend or husband is asleep to text you.

or perhaps she's on a night schedule, such as myself (due to work). i have friends that are on a similar schedule, and text me at night.. but i don't think anything weird about the ones that text me at noon.  |

Late night texting? My guess is that she does it when she has been drinking. Happy hour texts.
