Funny thing is I thought STI stood for Software Technology Incorporated

Actually, I used to street race when I was a teenager. I like cool cars. But I drive the mom mobile these days. My kids have no idea what I've given up for them. And they'd better repay me by not turning out like me It's a miracle my mom had any hair left

If you were planning on driving it to the gym, you were just as likely to get that fine.
Really. So I would burn out in front of a cop? I have been driving the car with no tickets for a while. The mods are not visible from the outside and only get looked at if you are acting an ass. I am saying it is her fault for driving silly enough to get pulled over!

Just because you haven't gotten a ticket so far, doesn't mean it's okay to keep breaking the law.

And she probably burned out BECAUSE of those illegal mods, anyway.

I vote both at fault. You for knowingly adding illegal modifications to your vehicle and her for being so lazy as to not want to put gas in her own car and for taking your vehicle without asking first, a common courtesy.

Twin turbochargers on a G37?!? How much horsepower are you getting with that? Manufacturer? Parts and install cost? Did they have to pull the engine for the install? Details, man, DETAILS!! I would love to get my Z turbocharged.

p.s. Sorry about the 3k. Hide the keys or get the Club or something...

Actually, it was silly to have a car that could do that in the first place. It's illegal. It doesn't really matter how you got caught. You got caught. Now you pay the fine.

It doesn't matter what your wife was doing, there'd be no ticket for illegal mods if there were no illegal mods .

As to getting stopped by the police, I've been stopped a few times myself but never gotten a ticket for illegal mods because, well, I don't have any on my car . That's how it works.

Next time, don't modify the car.

I agree. Could she have burned out in a car that didn't have them? Is it possible it was not intentional? That she simply was not used to driving that vehicle?

I once got into an accident with a rental car that I'm sure I would have maneuvered my way out of with my own. The car just didn't handle like mine.
