The way I look at it, I'd rather have sex with a fat/desperate/ugly chick than pay for it. If I'm hard up, I just lower my standards. Ain't no shame in this game. But then again.... I've never had the chance to meet an "appealing" prostitute so let's just say I don't know what I'd do unless I was in that moment.
I don't believe it's about stinginess and/or laziness. I think it's about power and control and the ability to do whatever you want without having to give a flying f about your partner. Since it essentially degrades the other person, I'd imagine people who deep down hate the opposite gender (or whichever gender they have sex with) would enjoy it quite a bit.
I don't think that may be true.There probably are some guys like that but I remember reading a local article about a sting where they set up a police woman to reel in guys.A 80 something year old guy got busted by that decoy.Report as quoted said the guy saw her and was taken by her looks,and said to her he hadn't had the opportunity to talk and be in the presence of a "beautiful" woman in a long time.Sounds to me like the guy likes women and wanted to feel like a man again.Not some guy looking to release bad hateful feelings.
No matter what people may think morally wise of transactions for sex personally I think it is a waste of police resources to try and bust people for sex as long as it is consensual.I really don't think it is anybodies business to bother some 80 year old guy who wanted some company of a woman let alone arrest him?Yeah people can sleep safer tonight knowing gramps got arrested for soliciting sex
And I suppose a prostitute despite the business aspect can have a nice or bad personality like any other person.The guy who told me that went to Brazil said he met a couple women in clubs,who were all looking for a "transaction" and he told me one was cold while the other became sort of a "companion" with him for a couple days,went clubing,took him sight seeing,slept over ect...

Well yeah you mentioned it. You are in Alaska there aren't too many hot prostitutes. I live in the Chicago area, thank God! There are many good looking prostitutes here. And once you become a realiable client some of the girls will lower the price for sex. It goes from 220 dollars to 50 dollars for an hour of feel good sex.
I can't believe some men would dive into a vagina that's had an innumerable amount of visitors with who knows what. Reminds me of when i was reading reviews on tripadvisor about Hotel Carter, and a guest saw a prostitute with open sores on her face, in obviously the late stages of AIDS, in the lobby still trying to get customers.
Just because a woman isn't a prostitute doesn't mean she hasn't had a lot of sex partners. Men are funny you assume that every woman you sleep has only had one or two others before you when the truth is she could be very promiscuous and have had many partners, she just charged dinner and a movie instead of cash.
Personally I think prostitution should be legal. It's only a crime because of the moral implications.

I was watching a show of prostitution MSNBC. They were following a bunch of cops busting johns in oakland. And the police officer was talking about how these johns were all criminals and that they were victimizing the prostitutes. It was why they had to go out and bust johns because they are criminals and are helping pimps become rich. Well I say this to him. If he was so concerned about doing right why don't they go after the pimps and not the johns or prostitutes. you want for prostitution to be victimless get the scum out of it. Get the pimp and traffickers. Not the hookers or johns.
This makes me think of what House the TV Dr. and all the TV cops say - Everybody lies.
I've never talked to anyone who admitted to going to a prostitute.
However given how many versions and varieties (low cost street all the way up to high class escorts, massage parlors etc.) and the sheer volume of them - there are obviously a lot of people going to them.
Then there's the definition thing...is a quick hand job at a massage "therapist" going to a prostitute? I would say yes. How about jerking off at a peep show? They are on every highway.

Don't be surprised to find out some of those cops make a deal themselves on the side with women.Probably happens alot actually,and they probably use the fact that they are the law as leverage.Talk about cohersion and victimizing......
I know this is going political but I just think it is nobodies business what two (or more) adults do as long as it is freely agreed upon.
You people crack me up. I have known gals who SHOULD have charged for what they give out. And men who will have sex with anyone without a condom. You all talk about AIDS and STD's as if hookers and gay men are the breeding grounds for them, when all you need to do is look two or three houses down.
There are married men looking for dates online, touting that they have had a vasectomy, assuring gals like me that they're safe - yet they have no clue if I am.
And you have people on this very board who brag about how women are only good for sex; bang as many as you can, yadda, yadda.
You have the gal who will sleep with anyone for pay, and the gal who will sleep with anyone.
hell no i would not pay for sex why would i do that if i could get it for free????
