I hope Bonnie hits paydirt! She's at the age where the married couples are now empty-nesters and finding that they don't have much in common/don't really like each other anymore so they're divorcing. I hope she finds a good one!
And BOOOOOOO to the coworkers and others who are naysaying and speculating all over the place about her. She's taken them into her confidence because she obviously trusts them and they're running roughshod over her. That really stinks.
Of course she should try but, she never even hugged a guy? She is probably very socially awkward if she went through her teens up til now with no experiences at all. It just seems like there could be some things she really has to work on before she puts herself out there.
I'd think whether she gets any results or not depends on why she was in her current situation so long-- personal preference, busy, bad experience, etc.
A lady at work (and a distant relative), (Bonnie) is not attractive to men. Well that is what she tells all of us when we ask her about why she is still single and lonely at age 49. She is quite candid and honest when she tells us that she has only gone on a few dates in her life and she was never asked out a second time. She tells us that she has never been kissed, or hugged, or had any type of sexual experience. Now that she is nearing fifty, she has decided that maybe it is time to try again and is going to advertise in the personals.
Because our friend at work is so honest about her terrible love life, she opens herself up for gossip, analysis and discussion when she is not around. We all think she is pleasant enough when we are talking to her at work, but none of "us girls" can picture Bonnie actually in a romantic or sexual relationship with deep conversation, caring, compromises, and tenderness. She has just been an old maid for two long and is set in her ways. We think that most people who have been single for so long just do not have what it takes to move into a relationship.
Do you know anyone like Bonnie (almost 50) that have never been kissed that find a man and live happily ever after?
Or maybe, this is just another thread started after a topic, lets see, based on a news story from a Scottish singer, named, Susan Boyle, Never been Kissed, 49 years old, sort of frumpy looking. hmmmmmm seems awful fishy that every topic you come up with is headline news, then you have a co-worker, a neighbor, or a relative with the same malady. Which troll village is it that you come from?
