Are people in relationships more attractive??
Why does it seem like when I am in a relationship I suddenly find all kinds of girls but when I am single they are hard to find. Or when I meet a group of girls the one I like turns out to already have a bf. What is the deal? Do people in a relationship give off some sort of vibe that makes them more attractive or is it just coincidence?? Anyone else notice this?

Probably not- I guess since you are attached you find yourself noticing and comparing others to what you have on your arm. Not bad, but it definitely heightens the senses.

It's usually the average Joes and ugly folk that I see are in relationships.
The pretty people and the hotties are more selective and more independent.

People in good happy relationships are happy, confident, satisfied people. And it's that mood that makes them more attractive to other people. Nobody wants to be with someone that is lonely or needy.

Dead on - all those "I want to find someone!!!!!" vibes are gone.
I also think that often taken people are so attractive is because they have in a sense already been "verified" as relationship material. |

You know, I noticed that when I was dating as well. And when I was engaged, women practically came out of the woodwork. I mean, no fewer than four outright propositions from women I worked with. I discussed that phenomenon with my wife, and she said that women are just naturally attracted to men who make another woman happy. |
