Given the choice between a 6 looking guy who makes six figures (say $150K) versus a 10 looking guy who makes double figures (say $60K), which one?

Assume you get along with them equally.

Someone just asked a question like this. I don't think women rate men like that anyway. I definitely don't .

Call me shallow but I'd take the 6, due to the fact that his income could provide for both of us, if needed. Besides, a 6 isn't bad. Now if he was a 1....

My bad. I should have checked the threads. If the mods want to combine the threads, that's cool.
(I'm always harping on people to search the threads on the city forums....I am guilty as charged....)

You should've specified the purposes as they make a world of a difference.

marriage - #1
fun - #2

However, I'm not THAT materialistic! If I were to marry somebody, it could be #2 as well.

Ditto. I just don't get the point.

This is a ridiculous poll.

Why this discrimination for the six-figure guys? Is this the AIG syndrome?

Given the options that we are to choose between...I would take the 6 guy with the six figure income. I have a 7 guy now, and even when we go to a restaurant or open the front door to the FedEx lady, the women are flirting like mad. Even when I'm dressed up and we're holding hands! I can't imagine having a 10 guy. No way.

I think it is the economy. A year ago nobody paid attention to him. No, I am not fat. And a lot of these women are taller and heavier than I am. Any port in a storm!

Many people live in a place like the north east and still make 60-65K. It's not a bad salary at all if the job is a steady one with benefits.

The whole six-figure thing is a poppy myth. Many six-figure buggers have bought million dollar homes and are scratching their heads in million dollar credit debts. Doesn't matter if the guy is 6 or 10. Wrong decisions, miserable life. Six figure salary won't help, lol.

And remember, guys, there's more job security in a double figure job. In a worsening economy, the six figure guys are the first to be got rid of. Straight from the heart of a victim.
