Is curly hair a turn off for guys? (movies, women, sexy)

So, I am a female with very curly hair. Like we're talking Keri Russell type curly hair that reaches my shoulders. Today, I decided to straighten my hair which is rare considering it takes way over an hour to finish. And I was amazed at how many more looks I got. It almost hurt my feelings! I've always suspected that curly hair makes girls look nerdy. I can't tell you how many times I've seen curly haired women in shows and movies get a makeover and that makeover, 99% of the time, includes straight hair. So what is up? What is it about curly hair that seems so intrinsically not hot to people?

Well I am not a guy, but I think curly hair can look gorgeous. Keri Russell is very pretty & I think her curls add to her looks. Straight hair might make her a little boring.

Curl abuse just makes me mad! Here I'm wasting my time making curls out of my straight sticks, while somebody else destroys gorgeous curls deliberately! Life's so unfair!

lol yes major turn off, it looks like bozo the clown, twisted sister, or Bette Midler. It looks equally bad on dudes too, just look at the Jonas Brothers, only one has the common sense to flat iron his hair.

Where do you like the curly hair to be? Let's go ahead and be honest about this.

In my opinion when I see a dude or a chick with curly hair it looks like a huge bush of armpit hair glued onto their scalp and that turns me off. Armpits hair is curly and bushy, not the hair on your scalp, hence the reason why so many people buy chi flat irons.

It took me about 30 years to finally appreciate what God gave me. I have Keri Russell-curly hair, and when I treat it right, I wouldn't trade it for straight hair for the world. However, if I do want to wear my hair straight (which I don't do in the Pacific Northwest, thanks), I can with little problem.

Honestly, I have better things to do with 30-40 minutes a day than straighten my hair. And, if people don't like it, too bad for them.

LOL it takes you 30 minutes to straighten? Girl turn up that flat iron full blast and get to straightening. It only take 5-10 minutes to straighten on dry combed hair.

that is terrible, don't say that. i like curly hair men, now don't have it real long that its wolfing, but short with a little is kinda sexy.
