I enjoy a playful exchange every now and then, but do you ever get the feeling that some posters take it too far, do it with just about everyone of the opposite sex that posts here, and/or just completely sucks at it? Thoughts, rants, whatever. All input is welcome. It's a better topic of discussion than all the other stuff that gets beat to death around here (porn as of recently).

Yes, and it can get annoying.

There's one that knows whenever I'm on line. Soon as I sign in, BAM, a DIRECT MESSAGE pops up.

Think he's refering to outright posts, haven't done the notice/im thing ever, and certainly wouldn't do that unless asked or it wasn't for any true flirtation. I think there's other group sections for specific interests should I wish to engage further with some.

I would think initiating that in this online venue as a guy with things as generally paranoid as they are would just come across as more creepish then anything else.

If someone starts showing me any special attention , I just check out if they are doing the same thing with other females on their friend list or in the forums and they generally are so I take it with a grain of salt. I doubt anyone would flirt seriously with me anyway, I'm too far away to be interesting.
