I have a friend who is Jamaican but has lived in the uk for many years now. Me and him were having a discussion about how far you would go with another girl before you would class it as cheating (he has a girlfriend). He said the hugging is ok, kissing is ok holding hands is ok and sex.....hmmmm that can be ok and he had a grin on is face. I was thinking gosh what an idiot i hope he was just joking. Later he wouldnt keep his hands off of me, kept picking me up in the air, kept poking and pinching me, tried to see my belly, pulled me onto his lap followed me to my bedroom and few times chucked me onto the bed, i then punched him in the stomach for doing that but he just laughed it off. Even though nothing happened i dont think his girlfriend would be too pleased

Stop talking to him. They're all the same. I met a Jamaican guy the first day in college and he invited me to his room to have sex. If you're that least but pretty and have a hole between your legs they want in.

I have to say that my experiences with Jamaican men have all been positive... maybe because they were not just Jamaican but true Rastas.. I have dated a few but been in serious relationships with 2 and I was always treated with great respect and only had to work if I wanted to.. I have been with a beautiful sexy Jamaican man for over 2 yrs now and he takes great care of me and my children that are not his... the other Jamaican men I dated took care of me as well I never had to pay bills or anything it seemed they enjoyed taking care of me.. even the man I am with now gets upset if I dont ask for things I want .. he says I should " lean on my man" that thats what he is here for.. maybe I have just been lucky... just proof they are not all bad.... : )

I have a Jamaican guy friend and he's kind of controling but to me its a turn on. We get along great, We've been talking for about 3 years, he works for a big corporation, tall, dark, handsome and a accent that drives me wild, it took me some time to figure out what he was saying, now I fully understand his english...I just love him to death. No complaints here....

Your ex is generalizing about Caribbean men. Caribbean men just are less likely to be treated like garbage from women, then American men are.

The stereotype is that Jamaican men are VERY possessive. Just wondered if any gals have had any experiences with them they'd like to share.
I've never been in an exculsive relationship with a Jamaican but......I have a friend who is Jamaican, he's married to an american woman and he is very nonchalant about being FAITHFUL and will hold conversations in front of his wife on the phone or in person.Now Im not dealing with this man but he wants to deal with me and he even gets possessive with me. I went to the shore and he wanted to know if I met anyone and got upset when I said I was having company. Im like "dude you're married,what are you doing". And from what I've heard from my girlfriends, this type of behavior is a given amongst Ja men. I truly dont mean to sound ignorant because I have west indian in me but idk...it must just be a trait!!!
