Men are you able to have sex with a woman if you are madly in love and pining for a different woman? (attracted, pregnant)

I just read that when a man is "madly in love" with a woman but she won't be with him, that he is unable to be attracted to another woman during the time that he still has those "madly in love" feelings for the other woman. Nobody else looks good to him.

Is this true in your experience?

I have found it's true in mine. When I'm madly in love, nobody else looks good.

Lol ChessieMom. I'm just dissecting my r/ship with this guy that's ending right now. And I was just trying to figure out if he used me as a rebound girl. He was seeing this one girl in January/February. She told me she got pregnant by him and had an abortion, I'm guess this happened around February. She is still REALLY bitter at him so I'm guessing he freaked out when she got pregnant and abandoned her. Then he got back into contact with me in late March. I was just wondering if he was using me to get over her.... He could have been using her to get over me too, since I dumped him last December and they ended up together in late December/early January. Though I doubt that... He's probably just using both of us for sex.

Thank you. I appreciate that. Yeah this is something I haven't been through in ages. Having your heart broken is devasting. Haven't been able to eat, probably lost 10 pounds (I guess this can be a good thing), haven't been able to work, barely have energy to even take a shower. I'm a messsss.

The girl looks a lot like me too. We could easily pass as sisters, maybe even twins from the right angel. Exact same hair style, same color, same skin tone, eye color, almost same age, similar facial features, etc. Weird. Could be that's just his type but it's an almost uncanny resemblance.
