Never! Im 41. I do not understand the concept of settling down. I still hope to get married by the time Im 47, but in my opinion that does not mean settling down. I just need to find a wife who shares the same view. Who says you have to sit around, watch American Idol, eat popcorn, and shop at Wal-mart? Who made these rules?
Yea I just turned 35 and I've never even been close to getting married, been too busy doing other things, like education, training and traveling. Not that there's anything wrong with marriage, but I just don't see happening anytime within the next 5 years for me.

Funny because I remember when I was 35 and a friend asked me when I was going to settle and have children, I told her, "In 3 years." I was in no relationship at that time. Yet, at 38 and a half, I met my future husband, and after a few whirlwind months, I was pregnant. Thinking back, I wonder just how had I known, or was it the power of "visualization" that they teach sometimes in self-growth or zen workshops At least, I had known all my life that I wanted to have family/kids, - even if it took longer than average.
