I wouldn't date someone who had guns. Handguns, shotguns, rifles, whatever. Because my home is gun-free, and I'd like to keep it that way.

being that i added a "hah", i said that as a joke. if you didnt find it funny, well sorry. i did which is why i said it because it reminded me of an episode of friends.
if you are offended by what i said, you might as well be offended by anyone who has turnoffs. i just have more.
i dont WANT to go out with a guy even a 1st time if i am so turned off by him. i think it is pretty cruel to go out with someone if you know before hand that you arent interested for whatever reason. i wouldnt want a guy going out with me if he feels the same way. i dont want to waste anyone's time, and i dont want my time wasted. its like if a guy was turned off by short women with a lot of body hair, i wouldnt want them dating me because they wouldnt be attracted to me.
i think it is important that you realize we all have different kinds of turn offs. if you said something like "short, stumpy legs (which i have)" i wouldnt say "oh gee you are so obnoxious". we like what we like, and we should tolerate that from each other.

Of course everyone has turn offs that's not what I was questioning, just the whole laminate card thing just seemed odd to me. I would think you could find out most of you're turn offs pretty easy without putting out a laminate card.
I guess I don't understand, do you hand out a laminate card of you're things you don't like in a guy?
You did put the Hah there, but it still sounds like you do pass out the card????

that line was a joke. i based it around an episode of friends it reminded me of. guess you arent a fan of the friends. ross and rachel were talking about 5 people they were allowed to cheat on if they ever came across that person. ross decided to laminate a card with the 5 women on it. his number 6 who did not make the top 5 was actress isabella rossalini. she walks into central perk (thats where they have coffee) and he runs over to her saying she is one of the people rachel (ross's girlfriend) will allow him to sleep with and that he has a laminated card. isabella asks to see it and ross remembers she didnt make the top 5.
still dont find it funny?
if not thats okay. we all have different sense of humor. you might prefer monty python, and i prefer will farrell movies.
