Do you need anyone to take care of your pooch while you have company? I wouldn't mind taking him off your hands.
Are you devout Christian? I get the feeling that threads on the homosexuality "lifestyle" would ruffle your feathers too.
How creepy is that? What are you going to do with their pooch? (And they never mentioned anything about her dog on this thread).
Uhh...no she's not homosexual. OP and her husband are swingers. So I guess she's bi.
And Aptor's threads don't ruffle our feathers at all. It's booorrrinnnggg to continue hearing about her lifestyle. She needs to be on a swingers forum not here.
Folks, if this type of thread isn't your cup of tea, just don't read it. It's no surprise what Aptor posts about. Instead of reading it and kvetching about how borrrrrring it is, just don't read it!

Shocking, I know.
Yeah, I know. I don't know why I post in her threads. I'll stay out of her threads.

Aptor and I go way back and have talked about her dog before so no need to get your knickers in a twist/
As far as Aptor's threads not ruffling any feathers, I beg to differ. People wouldn't be suggesting she give it a rest and go to another forum to engage in discussions about her lifestyle if it didn't bother them here. Frankly I find the reactions comical.

Good idea, don't let the door hit you on the way out.

And I beg to differ with YOU. The OP uses this forum for her own "feather-ruffling - that's all. She likes to think that she gets everyone all hot and bothered by these same threads over and over.

On a purely social and practical level, I wouldn't suggest having complete strangers stay with you. What if you're incompatible or really dislike each other? It will be unpleasant and awkward, unless it's easy for them to leave or you to ask them to leave. I'd only invite people I've already met and know are compatible and not creepy.
As for the swinging aspect, that's your call, of course. I do know a number of couples who do, and have heard both the good and the bad stories of their escapades. The bad stories always seem to be about issues that arise during a first meeting, and especially when it's not easy or practical to just leave (many bad experiences seem to involve boats!).
What if we come visit, and don't feel like it was going to work out..
What do you do?? I mean, there's gotta be some kind of "connection".
What do swingers do when they go to a party and don't want to swing with any of the guests???
Do you have pics of yourselves?? I'd hate to spend all that money and it be a "no go"....
