Wow Rance, I am typing as fast as I can to be first to answer because you will recieve many marriage proposals. I am sure I am too old for you, but I have a daughter...........
Well then PM me! She's first in line and all I need is one! Think she would like living in Alaska? Because I won't ever leave here except to come visit inlaws!

Annihilator...I was not much older than you when I had the roof cave in on my marriage. Life sucked for awhile...but I had 2 young boys to care for and could not be distracted by dating and chasing women. At that age...sure it's fun for awhile. But mark my words...it'll get old and you'll get lonely a time or two. Give yourself a little time to heal and see what life brings forth. At your age you still have every opportunity to meet and marry the lady of your dreams. Or like me you won't! But get this...there is more to life than getting laid. You may find that hard to believe at your age...but it's the truth. Good luck to you dude.

I dont believe in marriage.I dont believe in the "eternal" union of two persons for the rest of their lifes.
You know, one thing is have a boy/girlfriend and pass some time together. After a few months forget the girl and the "adventure" and begin another new.

Whats your opinion?

Freedom of marriage?

Lately, no.

I have not been married since 1991...and would like to be. I miss being married. If given the opportunity I would like to see my bride in an awesome wedding gown. I think a lady just looks beautifull in a wedding dress. And although I have 2 children (just leaving the nest) at 46...I would also love to have at least one more child. I love babies. Changing diapers was never a big deal. I got so I could do it while holding my breath! But yeah...I believe in marriage.
I want one more child and my husband doesn't really....can you be my baby's daddy? I think I might need to get divorced and remarried

I don't know mrshvo...your such a hottie! I'd have to chase guys off all the time. Of course if you were pregnant I may not have that issue. Ok I'll be your baby's daddy!

And if thats a proposal...I accept!

I think it would be cool to have a lady propose to me, rather than me to her. Rumor has it that it does happen.

LOL. I'd suggest you find a bit of respect for your own religion, annihilator, before you admonish others to respect it.

I'll say good bye now because I don't argue with twelve year olds on the internet.

Remember, when you do start having sex in a few years, wrap it up.

I'm 30, my wife is three years younger than I am, and we will have been together 10 years(married 7) this year. We both came from broken homes, and in our youth swore we wouldn't make the mistake our parents did by getting married. At 20, living in my car, barely holding a part time job, and having only known my wife for a couple of months, I asked her to marry me.
She laughed! I didn't get the courage to ask again for three years.

We both have a lot of drama in our past, so it was pretty rough in the begining, and continued to be so for years. We lacked the communication and coping skills to live with another person so closely. I've told my self I was walking away more than once, I even made it out the door one time, but it didn't last the night. That's what love will do for you.

Good and bad, I wouldn't trade it for anything. She's my love, my light, and my reason why. So yeah, I guess you could say I'm a believer.

But it doesn't sound like it's for you Annihilator, becuase it's not just about what you get, but what you give. And since you don't even want to bothered with the care of a loved one who has fallen ill, I'd have to say that you don't have much to offer.

As for weddings being about show, I couldn't disagree more. There are certainly those who treat it that way, but there's no helping them here.
A wedding is meant to be the celebration of a union between two people who love each other.
We got married in our friends back yard with less than 30 people there, with pizza, beer, and chips for food. We had a local lady make me a shirt and pants, and my wife a dress at her families insistance(and cost). Total cost was under $300 for both of us, I would have done it in jeans if it was done my way. I was wearing street shoes, and my wife was barefoot. No bling needed. We've had relatives who spent thousands on their own wedding tell us ours was their favortie of all they had attended.

Good friends, good food, and good beer is all you really need to celebrate.

A marriage is what you make it, there are no hard and fast rules, it's whatever the two people coming together make of it. It's yours to ruin or make great. Communication, openess, honesty, and trust go a long way torward happily ever after.

Oh, please stop referring to my terminology for my "hottie" pictures!

Nah, I think you would have to propose to me. I haven't been proposed to correctly. My husband did it many years ago out of anger, and threw my ring at me True story! So I need it done right!

And I don't mind Alaska-I'm the one that doesn't mind cold weather, while he does!

[bended knee]mrshvo...if you get divorced...will you marry me?[/bended knee]

I can't believe I just did that......but it's bound to happen. How long before a city-data member meets, elopes and marries another city-data member? Would'nt that be cool?
