Anyone ever experience this?

So, I was out at the local karaoke bar last night with a group of friends, when all of a sudden this gorgeous Black man walks by me; my jaw dropped. He looked famliar, I figured he was a regular there though I figured I'd have noticed him before. I walked over to one of my gal pals and didn't even have to say a word. She nodded with and enthusiastic "Mmmmm hmmmmm, I know.". Goodness, the man was just beautiful.

So, I go on about my business. I was watching this guy on stage regurgitate his version of Bon Jovi's Blaze of Glory when someone walks up to my ear and says "Choc?". I turned around and, be still my heart, it is the gorgeous Black man. He remembered me from over 3 years ago from various gatherings we had been to when I was with my then boyfriend. I couldn't remember his name, but I remembered thinking he was gorgeous back then (though I was in love, so it was a passing thought), where he worked and that he was married. I finally asked him for his name and it all came back to me. He gave me a hug (oh those arms!), we exchanged numbers and he told me he wanted to get together. I told him we would and we ended it there.

Then the KJ called his name and he got up to sing. Out came this beautiful, deep country voice to Toby Keith's Whiskey Girl. I was like a pimply faced groupie. I literally wanted to jump him, BUT, I maintained my composure.

All this on the heels of meeting this great guy on SA.com, who I really enjoy being with, but HOT DAMN! I have never experienced this in my entire life. It's stumbling.

I have his number. *giggle*

When it rains it pours, huh?!

It often seems to work this way... nothing, nothing, nothing... and then dilemmas!

But being me... I don't think I read that him being single is an established fact...

He said he is divorced, but I didn't get far enough into the convo to find out if he is taken. Stay tuned.

Happens all the time to girls who run into me. Eventually, you learn to deal with it.
