I'm looking at Match.com.

What have you tried? What works and what doesn't work?

I've had good experience with Plentyoffish.com and it's free. I think it's just as good as match which I found a little scummy.

I think it depends on your age and geography though since others have had better luck with match and not so much with POF.

There are some old threads on this topic with more details.

What are zombie threads?

Also, when you are trying these things might I suggest to do one or two things different than what you normally do?

For example - change the routine up!

Take a continuing ed course, take a cooking class, take up golf... shake it up!

Zombie threads are ones that someone pulls out of the grave and brings back to life. You'll be posting on the thread when suddenly you realize the O.P. started it two years ago and is no longer a member of the forum.

Okcupid.com is really fun for finding people to chat with, and it's free. It's definitely less "focused" than most of the more mainstream sites, but I like how lighthearted it is.
