Actually, we've done it once before. We moved 1200 miles away from home. It was exciting and a great experience! I guess I have the itch to do it again.

I think about this daily. It is an ecape for me. I'm afraid it will be the same if I relocate. That would be worse.

It is very tough. Having done it once, I no longer have the mental and physical energy to do it again, short of hopefully retirement some day...

I have moved probably fifteen times the last decade and lived in NY, OH, CA, AK, MS, IN, NC, and TX. I'll be the first to tell you that when you move nothing really changes but the weather and on occasion the people. You readjust quickly. Why you feel the need to move is important, because you cant run from most problems, unless its a person, and even then its usually better to confront it. It is only this last year I have finally realized I cant just pick everything up and start over proclaiming "I am out of this craphole" when infact I am the craphole. Attitude and perspective you can work on, moving seldom makes things better, besides it is a ton of added stress.

I think to add to this, if you think that once I'm living in X or Y my life would be good and I can start to live.

That's a sign that maybe the move isn't gonna fix what's inside.
