Do you own any pets? Is the man or women more appealing if he or she owns a pet?
Or are the pets a turn off? Myself I have always loved pets. Infact have a cat and a dog now. To me it shows love and big responsibility.
What do think?

It's not really a make or break for me whether he has a pet, but if he does, they had better get along with my cats.

I have 2 cats and my fiance brought a dog into the picture. It's also not a dealbreaker for me, but I prefer a guy that likes animals.
We're now one big happy family.

I would prefer a guy who is pet-free, however my current bf has two dogs and if we stay together I will have to learn to deal with it. I used to have a cat, and am much more of a cat person than a dog person.
One dog usually sleeps on the bed with him, but since I was there, the dog slept on the floor at the foot of the bed. As soon as one of us would get out of bed, the dog was right there and would jump up and make herself comfortable. A couple times she jumped on the bed when both of us were in it, crawled between us and draped herself over my boyfriend, licking his face as if to say "stay away from my man, you b*tch"

LOL, that reminds me of my boyfriend's dog, all 8 pounds of him. He will get in between us in the bed, and fall asleep length-wise in between. It's not so bad, except he steals the covers. So, I end up having to slip my hand under the blankets and lift him off that way. Inevitably, I end up with a crick in my neck, because he'll then fall asleep on the pillow above my head. I guess that's what I have to deal with when I take over "his side of the bed" when I'm there.

Chicks with cats are a turnoff for me. Especially if they talk to them and try to tell me about what great personalities they have. I hate cats. If the woman has a dog then she gets huge plus in my book.

"Having" a pet wouldn't be a plus, but liking pets would be.
My wife has always been a cat person (even though she's allergic to them) but quickly accepted my little Yorkie when we got together. Or at least I thought she did.
Shortly after my (future) wife moved in with me, she was asleep while I was watching TV from the bed. My 5-pound Yorkie was wandering from one side of the bed to the other and crossed my sweetie's bare legs... and that's when it all happened right before my eyes. Future wife's leg kicked mightily; man's miniature best friend went end-over-end, up, up, up, down, down, down, down. She looked like a hairy football on its way to a field goal. Make that a hairy football with very wide eyes.
"You kicked my dog! I yelled.
Supposedly, and this is the story I still get, new sweetie was dreaming. "There was a big bug on my leg, and I was trying to shake it off."

I bought it.
But I still wonder now and then....
